There's Been a Development
My brother pointed out to me that I will be in Oregon one week after my birthday for his wedding so I will have the chance to buy some computer parts without tax. This makes the prefered gift for PC components cash because I can save 8% right off the bat. I still won't be disappointed at any newegg.com gift certs.

Here is my list.
So my birthday is coming up pretty soon and I am getting asked what I want for it. I am getting pretty close to building a completed computer and all I need is a hard drive, CPU, and Video Card. The best thing would be money or gift certificates to www.newegg.com. If you really want to get me a computer part let Shanna or I know and I can send you a list of the specific items. Returns are less messy if I order something and it turns out to be DOA which happens occasionally with pc parts.
If you really really want to get me something tangible there is a board game called Carcassone that I would like. I could use a Best Buy gift card for $20 so I can buy Smashing Pumpkins and Interpol on 7/10. Here is a link to a hat that is totally nerdy but I think it would be cool because I am pretty nerdy. This one would be cool if I could get the beige emblem. It looks like they might be out. I really need newegg stuff though because I have a half empty tower with a motherboard and ram sitting around doing nothing.

New stuff
Wow I didn't realize it had been so long since I had posted anything. The second Learn2Draw item is almost complete and will be up soon. I really need to overhaul that site since I have just left it on the default settings. I am also looking for a better way to display the content.
I took Emma to the Seattle Aquarium the other day. We parked up at 7th and Stewart near Shanna's work so we could visit her. I would choose the day that has all of the Pike Place Market elevators broken so Emma and I walked up and down the Market Hill stairs. Well she walked halfway up and I carried her and a stroller the rest of the way. I carried everything on the way down.
She loved the aquarium and I will post my photos soon. Emma loves to go to pet stores and just watch the fish. The pink fish are her favorites which should come as no surprise to anyone who has had the privilege to meet her. She also enjoyed the river otters which she called "bunnies." Emma is not a fan of the Octopus or Wolf Eels :)
The eye patch seems to be working for Emma and she has no qualms about wearing it now. If I ask her if she wants to wear it she actually says yes. The wierd thing that I had said I would write about in a previous post was that on the second day she was wearing it I asked if she was ready for the patch and she said yes. I went to put it on her eye and she said "Other eye please." It broke my heart beacause she was so polite and because she obviously knows that she can see better out of one eye. I told her that we have to patch the good eye so that the bad eye will be strong. She nodded and said "ok" but she sighed, slumped her shoulder, and seemed so defeated and disappointed. She is a strong little girl.
