I am a wanna be web guy. Sad thing is I haven't really jumped onto the whole web 2.0 thing yet. I think it's because I want to remain a normal internet user. I know my way around the internet and I don't need every bit of information at my fingertips 24/7. Plus I think a lot of it so far has been gimicky. I was working on a desktop application for myself that would incorporate the feeds and applications that I use on a regular basis. I know it is pretty much just like a Mac desktop(this might mean Boone-3 M$-0) or the forthcoming Windows but I wanted the experience of building one for myself. Well I finally found someone who did it well enough for me to change my homepage to. http://www.yourminis.com/ is a cool page which allows you to basically customize your own homepage. I know Yahoo or Google lets you create your own page as well but I prefer the control of yourminis plus you all know how much I like Flash. It is made by the guys who brought you http://www.goowy.com. Give one of em a try.
What do I have on my mini? Calender, To do list, weather, email, brother's blogs, a COMIC!!! and more. YAY!!!!
