I am still bored.

I have finished up the site I was working on for Hope Academy in Nigeria but I haven't heard back about finding a place to host the site. At this point I am pretty much done with web stuff and am going to get back to playing with my own things. Maybe even get going on my own site. I just haven't been motivated to do anything lately. Part of it stems from a fear of over indulgence and an inability to step away from Flash. I literally have an easier time turning off a game than quitting in the middle of a project and that makes for some very late nights and VERY early mornings. Emma is waking up before 7 these days and it is killing me.

I made a tree program and I was thinking of turning it into a class but in the end I didn't see much point so I made it a component. I will post it sooner or later. Nothing fancy. Just some recursive functions that grow branches. Nothing new either but it is new to me and I needed the practice to get back in the swing of things. I am just about ready to start animating some stuff. I am narrowing down my list of topics and trying to figure out what I want my first project to be.

I am completely sick of music at this point. There doesn't seem to be anything out there that can hold my attention for more than a couple days. I have been listening the soudtrack to Amelie of all things as well as listening to audio books.

I was going to post some video of Emma but I decided against it and taped everything we have so far onto video cassettes. I will be mailing one to AZ and one to CA. If you read this and you live in that state(and you are actually related to Emma) you will be receiving one some time next week.

I am going to buy this someday.

I saw this about 4 months ago and I was going to post it then but as usual I got lazy. My keyboard died and I need one anyway so I guess the timing is good.

Update

I was sick for most of last week. I still have a bit of a cough left. I didn't really do anything last week except go to the doctor's.

My computer ran for about a week and then it died again. I am using my friend's computer once again but it is slow and frustrating especially since mine was running so well. I am going to upload some pictures and video as well as finish some web stuff but then I think I am going to take some time away from the computer. At least until I buy a new one. Not really a big deal since I only blogged a handful this last month. I recommend you check back here once a week but at this point that is me being optimistic.

I do want to get some video of Emma up early in the month. Garrettrodriguez.com is expiring next month so I may as well use up all the bandwidth. I am not going to renew it so there will probably be some dead links popping up if you decide to read any of my archives.
