What did you think I was gonna say? Interpol was incredible. They were better than when I saw them in October. The only thing I don't like about Interpol shows is that they seem to go by too fast. They played almost 20 songs and it was 60-90 minutes which is a decent concert. They just don't do much talking and I enjoy it so much that the shows only seem like 20 minutes. They played one song that they said they had never performed live before. I only know the titles of 4 Interpol songs. This is because I bought the CDs and haven't seen the cases since. The CDs haven't really left my CD player since day one so there is no reason to use the case. Interpol shows are pretty cool. You can't really see the band because they keep all the lights of. No spotlights or stage lights are on the band. Instead they shoot colored lights out into the audience. It is the only show I have been to were we couldn't see the band and they could see us. I know this isn't much of a review. I don't really do them. Haha I lied in my last post. Go see them yourselves. You won't regret it.
I think my only complaint about the show is that there are dummies there who have to whip out there cell phone to try and record the concert. They only seem to record for a minute or so at a time so they are constantly messing with the phone pad. This is stupid for a couple reasons. It is distracting to have little blue white screens lighting up the room. The sound quality can't possibly be that great. Because of the lighting Interpol uses it just looks like flashing lights set music. And finally, these idiots are actually watching the show on the screen as they record it! Why would you pay to go to a concert and then watch it through a low res screen with a 1.5 inch diagonal? The real thing is happening right in front of you! It is an amazing thing that some people are able to use a camera to capture life or even add to it by filming or photographing it. These are the people who aren't missing life by watching it through a lens. But for the average joe with his free cell phone it is a waste of time!
